Peralta News was developed to highlight and promote the Peralta Community College District. There is always something of interest happening at any one of the four campuses in the district and Peralta TV has cameras rolling to capture these events, announcements, and interviews. Academic Excellence focuses on the scholastic achievements of students, faculty, and highlights departments and their stories. From scholarship winners to faculty profiles…academic department showcases…to curriculum development. Arts & Culture is another segment within Peralta News that brings the creativity and the community of Peralta together. Dance performances, summer music programs, cosmetology and student affairs share arts and culture on Peralta TV. Another major component of student life and the collegiate experience is sports. In 2008 Peralta TV created PTVSports to cover all the Peralta student athletics. Broadcasting live football games, championship basketball, track and baseball from the students, faculty and community of the Peralta Colleges.
